Larry's Livery & Funeral Coach Service is looking to hire a funeral director apprentice / transfer assistant who can provide the ultimate caring experience to a family who have lost a member of their family. You will be interacting and working with other funeral home staff, coroners, medical examiners, law enforcement officials, nurses, and grieving families.

Funeral Director Apprentice / Assistant working with Larry's Livery and Funeral Coach Service would need to be comfortable with the following tasks and responsibilities while keeping a professional, accommodating and supportive customer service attitude while meeting and working with the public and co-workers.

Duties / Expectations include but are not limited to:

• Being on call for transfers and transferring descendants from the place of death to the funeral homes.

• This position is responsible for the care, removal and transport of human remains from hospitals, nursing homes and residences in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Following company dress code and personal standards policies for job being performed.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds alone.

• Must pass a background check.

• Must have a valid Wisconsin Drivers's License

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Wisconsin Funeral Director Apprentice License (Preferred - But Not Required)

Schedule:

• 24 hour shift - Weekend

• 15 hour shifts - Weekday

• On call
